* Rudys Pizza Duluth, Ga. Review

Located in Duluth,Ga. , Rudys is A Pizza Once One of My First Pizzeria Discoveries. Since I Work Front Desk at A Hotel im Frequently Seeing Pizza Guys Come in & Out. Usually its Your Regular Pizza Hut & Papa Johns Driver but One Day I Seen That the Back of One Guys Shirt Say ” Rudys”. I Thought To Myself Hmm im Going to Have to Check Them Out. When I Finally Did I Wasnt Disappointed!

Rudys is A Pizza- Italian Restaurant So The Menu is Pretty incredible ! They Have it All : Pizza, Wings, Salad, Calzones, Stromboli, Spaghetti, Lasagna, Bruschetta You Name it They Got it ! I Didnt Want To Order Anything Too Heavy Since I Was Working So i Went With Classic Pizza and Wings.

I Got A Large 2 Topping Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza w/ A Side of Extra Hot Wings. Pizza Was Hot & Fresh! To Me it Could Use A Bit More Sauce but Other Than That it Was Great. It Not That The Pizza Was Dry or Anything im Just A Saucy Kind Of Girl. The Wings Were Also Really Good! They Were Bigger Than I Expected Them To Be Considering My Last Experience At A Wing Place.

I Would Definitely Recommend Rudys For Pizza & Wings. I Want To Make Time To Go To The Actual Restaurant & Enjoy Some of Their Other Italian Specialties Like Chicken Parmigiana or The Baked Ziti. Stay Tuned For Part 2 Of This Review

Turkey Chilli

The Weather Out Here in Atlanta Has Been Slowly Dropping & its Been Quite Rainy As Well. Perfect Chili Weather Right ? I Think So ! Instead of My Usual Ground Beef Chili, I Decided to Use Turkey Meat Since I Was Planning on Sharing w/ A Coworker Who Doesn’t Eat Beef.

I Shopped At Kroger & Got

  • 1 Ground Ground Turkey Meat
  • 2 Cans of Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 Can Tomato Paste
  • 1 Chili Seasoning Pack
  • 1 Can Dark Kidney Beans
  • 1 Green Onion
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper

Here is A Quick & Easy Video on How I Made My Chili. Prep Time Was About 10 Mins & Cook Time Took About 30 to 45Mins.

All & All I Think My Dish Came Out Amazing! I Was So impressed I Had To Call My Grandmother & Tell Her How Good it Was Even Tho Mine Will Never be As Good as Hers lol. Nobody Makes it Like Grandma Does!

* Come To Go Duluth,Ga Food Review

Located on 2029 Old Norcross Road #D Duluth,Ga.30096 This Wing Place is Guaranteed to Knock Your Socks Off. With A Large Menu Variety You Almost Cant Pick The Wrong Thing. I First Came Across This Restaurant When My Manager Purchased Us Lunch On Evening. Im Glad I Didn’t Pass Up on The Offer Because The Had Some REALLY Good Food! They Offer Chicken,Burgers,Subs, Lo Mein, Salads,Wraps & Much More. Reminds Me Of The Mom & Pop Chinese Restaurants We Have Back in Florida.

Im Starting to Experiment w/ Flavors Now Because Always Getting ” Hot ” Gets Boring, So I Decided to Try The 10 Piece Hot Honey BBQ. I Didnt Order The Meal Because Anytime I Get Fries on A Delivery Order The Never Come Fresh. They Have A Salad Selection So I Got A Greek Salad w/ House Dressing. Everything Arrived Fresh & in A Timely Manner and Smelled Great.

The Wings Weren’t Super Saucy But it Had Just Enough to Perfectly Coat The Wings. The Flavor Was Really Good, it Was A Perfect Mix of Sweet & Spicy and You Could Taste A Hint of Honey. Everything Balanced Out Well, it Wasn’t To Sweet or Too Spicy. As Far as the Size of The Wings The Were A Bit on The Skimpy Side but Still Very Filling.

The Salad Look Pretty Good but Only Issue I Had Was The Pool of Water at the Bottom of My Container. Now Dont Get Me Wrong im Glad to Know The Wash Their Produce but The Mess They Left Was A Bit Unprofessional to Me. I Had to Use A Napkin to Sop Up the Water Before Eating it. Also They Could Have Cut The Lettuce into More Bite Sized Edible Pieces. Other Than That The Salad Was Pretty Good but im Be Skeptical to Order it Again Because I Dont Want To Come Across the Same issue.

Over All I Did Enjoy The Food for The Most Part. Im Excited to Order From There Again & Try Some of The Other Menu items. The Food is Good in The Pricing is Pretty Reasonable. I Would Definitely Recommend This For A Nice Lunch Spot or if You Needed A Place to Pick Up Something Quick for Dinner.

Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo

Hey My Good People =) I Feel Like its Been Awhile Since ive Blogged But On Today’s Menu We Have Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo. Working 2 Jobs is Starting to Take A Toll on Me So ive Gotten Quite Lazy in the Kitchen Lately So I Decided to Go With A Simple Meal w/ Few ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Yellow Onion
  • 1 Bag Frozen Broccoli Florets
  • 2 Cans Of Creamy Classic Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 Box Uncooked Pasta of Your Choice

I Diced My Onion & Bell Pepper & Placed Them in A Frying Pan w/ Butter to Saute’. While My Veggie Got Going I Started Cutting Up My Chicken Breast & Seasoned Them With Creole Seasoning & Garlic Powder. Once They Were Nice & Sauteed I Added My Frozen Broccoli & Let it Thaw & Get Soft.

Once My Meat & Veggies Were Done I Placed Them in A Large Pot & Emptied Both Jars Of Alfredo Sauce. For A Little Extra Flavor I Sprinkled in Some Italian Seasoning Blend and Let it Simmer & Come Together While My Pasta Noodles Boiled. I Usually Use Spaghetti Noodles but This Time I Went With Bow-ties.

For Some Reason I Have A Bad Habit of Cooking Way Too Many Noodles. As You Can See From The Video I Has Way Too Many Noodles & Not Enough Sauce lol I Ended Up Having To Add Some Water to The Empty Jars & Shake it Up to Get A Little Extra Out. The Finished Product Turned Out Good. My Next Mission is To Find A Really Good Homemade Alfredo Sauce & See How it Turns Out. Stay Tuned for My Next Recipe!

Flounders Chowder House Review

One of My Favorite Restaurants I Used to Frequently Visit While Living in Pensacola, Fl Was The Locally ” Famous” Flounders Chowder House. Located At 800 Quietwater Beach Rd in Gulf Breeze Fl. 32561, This Restaurant Has Nice Out Door Seating Where You Can Get a Beautiful Beach View. They Also Have A Children’s Play Ground, an Area Where You Can Play Beach Volley Ball, A Tiki Bar & A Sushi Lounge Area Away From The Main Dining Space.

You Can Always Almost Guarantee A Crowd Here, Especially During The Summer Time. The Dress Code is Super Casual, You Can Hang Around in Your Beach Clothes & its A Judgement Free Zone. They A Pretty Popular For Their Signature Drink ” Diesel Fuel” Which is Loaded with Double Shots of Vodka, Rum, Gin & Triple Sec. Sounds Like A Hangover Waiting to Happen & I Can Definitely Vouch for That. On This Particular Date I Wasnt Really That Hungry So I Decided To Go With A Light Appetizer & Frozen Drink. I Kept it Simple & Ordered A Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri in A Souvenir Glass & An Order of Fried Calamari.

One Thing I Do Love About Flounders is You Will Always Get Your Moneys Worth No Matter What You Get. The Service, Portion Size & Taste Never Disappoint No Matter What Time or Day of the Week We Go. The Daiquiri Was The Perfect Thirst Quencher on This Hot Summer Day. I Was Highly impressed with The Calamari Because ive Been to Some Restaurants Where the Calamari was Either Super Chewy or the Coating Was Not Crispy Enough. This Was Fried to PERFECTION. Im Not Sure if The Soak Them in Milk or Boil Them Before Frying but Whatever Their Secret is Makes it SUPER Tender in the inside Yet Perfectly Crispy & Seasoned on the Outside. The Marinara Sauce Was Served Warm & On Top Was Some Lightly Sprinkled Cheese Which if im Not Mistaking is Parmesan.

All & All I Rate Flounders 11/10 For Being So Perfect! The Atmosphere is Great, Food is Even Better & The Price is Fairly Reasonable. If You Are Ever in The Pensacola Area Visiting The Beach I Would High Recommend This Restaurant Weather its A Date Night ,Night Out With Your Friends, or Just Family Dinner.

Steak & Mashed Potatoes w/ Sauteed Spinach

Welcome Back to Another Episode of Cooking With Mookie =). On Todays Menu We Have Steak, Mashed Potatoes & Spinach. Now if You’ve Read My Previous Blog Posts Then You Kinda Already Know That Steak is One of My All Time Favorite Foods To Eat. Although its Been Said Red Meat isnt Really That Good too Eat, I Still Indulge in The Food Probably at Least Once A Week.

I Bought A 4 Pack Of Center Cut Sirloin Steak From Walmart and Lightly Seasoned Them With McCormick’s Steak Seasoning, Garlic Powder, and Onion Powder on Both Sides. I Turned My Frying Pan On to High Heat & Added About 2 Tbsp of Butter To Melt Down Then Added My Steaks. The Pan is Fairly Large So I Was Able to Cook Them 2 At A Time. I Like My Steaks A Little Pink in The Middle So I Cooked Them For About 5-7 Mins Per Side & Let Them Rest.

Cooking Spinach is Fairly Easy. Only Thing I Hate About This Particular Veggie is The Fact That You Can Cook A Whole Bag of Spinach & Once its Cooked Down it Almost Looks Like Nothing lol. I Sauteed My Spinach in Some Olive Oil & Season Salt. My Grandma Always Made Hers With Minced Garlic & Lemon and Thats How I Was Planning to Make Mine But I Didnt Have Either of Those. I Was Able to improvise w/ Some Lemon Pepper Seasoning & At First I Didnt Think it Would Taste Right but it Actually Came Together Perfectly.

While My Steak Was Resting I Finished Up My Spinach & Made A Light Gravy Out of Some Extra Butter, Steak Drippings From The Pan, & A Tad Bit of Water. I Stirred it Real Well Making Sure to Kinda Blend Some of The Seasonings From the Bottom of The Pan but Was Careful Not to Scrape it Too Much. My Mashed Potatoes Were Not Homemade. As Stated in A Previous Recipe, My Usual Go to is Bob Evans Mashed Potatoes & With Some Added Butter & Pepper They Taste Just As Amazing.

Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville Review- PCB Location

On My Birthday Me & My Friends Decided to Take A Trip Down to Panama City Beach, Fl. To Hang Out & Spend The Day Exploring. We Started of Playing & Having Drinks At Dave & Busters. For Those Who Dont Know Dave & Busters is, its Like An Adult Chuck E Cheese but Also Kid Friendly. This Was My First Time Going & I Was Quite impressed! They Has All Sorts Of Fun Games to Play For A Decent Price and Great Drinks During Happy Hour. After Playing For About An Hour Or So We Decided to Leave and Find A Nice Restaurant to Eat At. With it Being My Birthday I Was Excited to Find Somewhere I Had Never Been. As We Walked Down Pier Park We Came Across Some Pretty Nice Ones but Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville Struct My Eye. Birthday? Friends? Margaritas? On the Beach ? Count Us in! (16230 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32413 )

Since it Was St Patrick Day Weekend & Spring Break The Beach Was Loaded With Families Out Having Fun. When We Arrived to the Restaurant it was Pretty Packed w/ Beachers but The Wait Time Wasn’t Too Bad. Since it Was Across the Street From the Beach They Had Outside Seating w/ A Nice View. After We Were Seated, Out Waitress Handed Us Our Menus & My First Thought Was to Find The Drink Specials because You Simply CANT Go to a Place Called Margaritaville & Not Try One of Their Special Margaritas. I Decided to Get the ” Last Mango in Paris” in A Souvenir Glass ( Funny Side Story: I Got So Drunk That Day I Ended Up Leaving The Glass) and The Drink Was Disappointing. I Was Expecting A Rush Of Tequila To Hit Me but I Couldnt Taste Anything But Mango Flavor. I Ended Up Ordering ARefill because it Didnt Do Much For Me. The Food Menu Was Pretty Simple, Honestly Less Than What I Expected but They Had Alot of Decent Options. Pretty Typical Beach Restaurant Food, Land Sea & Sandwich Options. Im Not A Big Seafood Eater & I Usually Order Steak at Restaurants so I Decided to Be Different & Get The Baby Back Ribs. My Other Option Was Going to Be Jimmy Jammin’ Jambalaya but Since I Had Visited New Orleans A Few Weeks Prior & Had Plenty of Jambalaya & Gumbo I Decided to Pass Up on The Offer. I Wish I Hadn’t Because When My Plate Arrived I Was Highly Disappointed. My Food Looked And Tasted Like Typical Chain Restaurant Food. Not Fancy or Anything Spectacular Like I Had Expected. My Portions Weren’t Very Plentiful and it Was Not Very Flavorful. The Ribs Were Suppossed to Have A Signature Sauce on Them but it Tasted Like Regular BBQ Sauce. I Feel As Tho I Could Have Went To TGI Fridays and Got the Same Food with Better Quality and For A Much Cheaper Price Just Like My Experience At Saltgrass Steak House. All and All I Was Not Pleased but The Overall Experience and Atmosphere Made Up For it.

My First Experience Here Was Not The Best But I Really Want to Give Them A 2nd Try. I Feel Like The Location Was So Busy They Didnt Perform Their Best because They Probably Were Rushing to Tend To All The Hungry Guest. I Dont Want to Believe That its Overrated Because its A Popular Beach Resort So im Going to Eventually Give Them A 2nd Chance and More Thank Likely Try Something Different.

Impossible Whopper Review

Hey There My Good People, im Back With Another Review! This Time its Going to Be on Burger Kings New Plant-based Burger. They Call it * Dumrolls * The IMPOSSIBLE WHOPPER. Now Honestly I Was VERY Skeptical About Trying This Because Fast Food Places Trying to Be Plant Based is Just A Weird Combo To Me. I Ordered My Food Via Door Dash Because They Were Doing A Bundle Special Where You Can Get The Impossible Whopper as Well As A Regular Whopper To Compare Them. They Also Provided Free Delivery Which Was Even Better. I Placed My Order & Waited For My Driver To Show Up With This Unique Sandwich That Had Social Media Going Crazy.

My Food Arrived Hot & Fresh Which Was Slightly Surprising Because Usually When I Order Food at A Certain Time of Night its Not Always Fresh. In My Brown Bag Where Both My Whoppers & I Was Eager To Try Them. As I Unwrapped My Sandwich To My Surprise it Looked Like Your Typical Fast Food Burger, Nothing Fancy Or Spectacular. In My Opinion They Didnt Add Enough Mayo & Ketchup and They Were A Bit Heavy Handed With The Lettuce but Thats An Easy Fix, No Biggie. After Picking Off The Onions & Adding A Few Condiments, I Was Ready to Sink My Teeth in

I Was Honestly SHOOK At How Good it Was. I Wasnt Sure What To Expect but I Can Definitely Say it Exceeded My Expectations. To Me it Actually Tasted Like A Regular Whopper! The Texture Was A Bit Different But The Flame Broiled Taste Was Still The Same. Despite the Fact it Wasnt Super Pleasing to the Eye, the Taste By Far Was Really Good. Like Most Veggie Burgers it Was a Little Sweet From the Vegetables but Not Much. It Was So Delicious I Sat There & Ate The Whole Thing lol. I Couldnt Even Compare it To The Other Whopper I Was So Full , but ive Had Plenty of Whoppers I Already Knew What I Was Comparing it To.

All & All Id Give This Burger 4.5/5. The Only Reason I Dont Give it A 5 is because the Presentation Wasnt The Best and it Was A Bit Dry Prior to Me Adding My Own Condiments. It Wouldnt Be My First Choice but I Would Probably Order it Again Whenever I Go to Burger King Again.

Saltgrass Steakhouse Review

Whats Up My Good People, Today im Going to Do A Food Review on Saltgrass Steakhouse! I Decided to Pick Another Steakhouse because 1) Steak is One of My Favorite Foods & 2) This Particular Restaurant is Another One That I Havent Been to So I Felt it Would Be A Winner.

Located in Pensacola, Fl. ( 905 E Gregory Street Pensacola,Fl.) This Particular Location Sits Right By the Water. It The Particular Location to Me is Perfect because it Right in Between 2 Main Attractions; The Beach & Historic Downtown. That Would Also Explain Why its Always Busy! On This Particular Day it Didn’t Seem Busy So Me & My Cousin Decided to Check it Out & Boy Was I Wrong. We Got There and I Was Confused As To Why We Had A 45 Min to 1 Hour Wait Yet The Parking Lot Was Fairly Empty. It Didn’t Dawn on Me That People Had Probably Made Dinner Reservations lol. After Waiting For About An Hour We Were Comfortably Seated Outside. Florida Heat Can Be Unbearable but Today Was A Nice Temperature w/ A Nice Breeze & Not Too Humid. Our Waiter Gave Us Our Menus & We Started Browsing. The Selections Were A Bit Pricey as I Expected But They Had Some Great Food Options. Like Your Typical Steak House, They Offered Steak, Chicken, Ribs & Seafood. The Soup & Salad Selection Was Also Nice. I Like Going Places That Have A Nice Variety Because no Matter How Many Times You Want to Go Back, You Can Always Switch it Up and Try Something Different.

Instead of Getting An Appetizer I Got Cesar Salad, one of My Favorite Go To’s. The Salad Was Pretty Good With Some Black Pepper. They Make All Their Dressings Homemade & You Can Definitely Tell Because it Just Tasted So Crisp & Fresh. Im Not A Big Fan of Croutons So I Ended Up Picking Them Out. While Eating My Salad I Kept Browse the Menu to Try and Figure Out Exactly What I Wanted. I Went With Pats Ribeye Cooked Medium With A Side of Loaded Mashed Potatoes.

The Food Was Well Worth The Wait, Which The Actually Time We Waited for the Food Wasn’t So Bad it Was Just Waiting to Be Seated That Seemed To Take Forever. All and All The Food Was Honestly Average to Me. Maybe it Was because I Didn’t Try Anything Different and Over the Top But I Wasn’t Super impressed. I Feel Like I Could Have Went to TGI Fridays or Even Outback Steakhouse & Got The Same Quality for Cheaper. I Would Love to Go Back Again & Try Something Different So I Can Give A Better Review.

Baked Honey BBQ Chicken

Here I Am Once Again Finding Myself Blogging YET Another Chicken Recipe lol. Although it May Seem Like it, Im Not Addicted to Chicken I Swear! Today im Going To Be Posting My Baked Honey BBQ Chicken Recipe. Now Theres Nothing Super Complex or Special About This Recipe Except My Recipe I Use For My BBQ Sauce. BBQ Sauce is Something Unique Sauce That You Can Flavor Up Any Kind of Way. You Can Do Honey BBQ, Hot BBQ, Mango BBQ, Hot Honey BBQ, Sweet Chili BBQ, You Name it!

Ingredients Used

  • 1 Pack Chicken Legs
  • 1 Bottle Regular BBQ Sauce
  • Ketchup
  • Brown Sugar
  • Honey
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Stick of Butter

To Begin, Of Course You Want To Start By Washing And Seasoning Your Chicken. My Choice of Seasoning Consist of Creole Seasoning, Black Pepper, Poultry Seasoning, & Onion Power. In A Baking Pan Lay Your Chicken Out Evenly. A Special Trick I Learned From My Ex’s Grandmother is to Put A Pat Of Butter Underneath the Flap Chicken Skin. This Keeps The Chicken Tender & Juicy. I Like To Bake My Chicken With Foil On Top for the First Half of The Process. I Place My Chicken in The Oven and Let it Cook For About an Hour at 350 Degrees. While The Chicken Bakes You Can Get Started on Your BBQ Sauce. In A Mixing Bowl I Empty Out Some Plain BBQ Sauce to Use as My Base. Now in The South We Dont Use Measurements in the Kitchen, We Just Kinda Eyeball it and Pray for the Best. With My BBQ Sauce I Squeezed About 1/2 Cup of Honey and Ketchup, Added A Few Spoon Fulls of Brown Sugar, And A Couple of Drops of Worcestershire Sauce. If You Want To Add Some Spice to it You Can Also Add A Few Drops of Your Favorite Hot Sauce. Mix Well & Make Sure to Mix Well, Until Sugar is Dissolved &the Sauce isnt Grity. I Like to Pour My Sauce Over My Chicken When its About 75% Cooked So The Sauce Can Cook into The Meat. I Took The Foil Off My Pan, Covered My Chicken wiht BBQ Sauce & Let it Finish Cooking.
